Frequently Asked Questions

Ask Questions

Will there be other Summits held this year?

At this time we only have one Summit per year.

Can my spouse come to the conference with me?

Yes. Discount rates are available for spouses of full-paying registrants. A spouse may attend all of the workshop sessions. The cost for a spouse is $599.

Do I have to stay on-site?

We strongly recommend you stay on site. The Park Hyatt has given us an excellent rate of $139 per night. Our workshop schedule is very full and it will be difficult for you to fully participate and stay off-site.

If I need to arrive early to the conference, can I stay the night before at the facility?

This is completely dependent upon the hotel's availability. Once you register, you will make your own reservations through a website set up specifically for Summit Conference attendees. The conference room rate will be available for several days before and after the conference in the instance you decide to come early or stay late.

How far is the airport from the facility?

Denver International Airport is approximately 105 miles from the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. The drive will take approximately 2 1/2 hours depending on traffic.

What are the Shuttle options?

While we don't have an organized group shuttle planned, there is a shuttle service you can utilize. Please contact Colorado Mountain Express at 800-525-6363 and tell them you are attending a conference at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa.

When should I book my flight to depart?

We suggest that you book your flight to depart after 5:00pm.

What meals are included?

Breakfast and lunch each day is included in your registration. We will also provide drinks and snacks throughout the day.

How many can attend the Summit?

In order to provide the most personal attention possible, we limit the Master Summit to 50 attendees. There is no limit to the Basic Summit.

Will Ken be at this event?

Yes. Ken will be at the entire Summit and teaches a large portion of the workshop. He will also be available to answer your questions and spends time with attendees during breaks, lunch and evening networking times.

What if I have no experience, should I still attend?

Yes! The Summit will be of GREAT value as you begin your new career. We are confident that the information you receive will help you to bypass much of the "School of Hard Knocks" saving you both time and money.

Is this only for beginners?

Every year, Ken says that even HE learns something from the Summit that helps move his career forward. People like Mark Gungor, Michael Hyatt, and Jay Laffoon who already had established careers will tell you that the Summit helped to catapult them to a new level. Wherever you are in your career you will gain GREAT knowledge and benefit from attending the Summit.

Is the Summit only for people who are or want to be professional speakers?

In years past we've had all kinds of people attend the Summit: small business owners, singers, talent agents, musicians, actors, comedians, pastors, athletes… the list goes on and on. If you have something to market and grow, the Summit will help you.

What is the difference between the Summit and the SCORRE Conference?

At the Summit we teach you the business and marketing side of making a career as a speaker or entertainer. At the SCORRE Conference we work on the actual preparation & presentation of your speeches. The ultimate experience would be to attend both.

This year, for the first time, the Summit and the SCORRE Conference are being held in the same week at the same location. When you register for the Summit, you will receive a coupon code for $500 off your tuition to SCORRE.
